After My Last Failed Attempt...

Well after my last failed attempt for new portfolio site, I came up something a bit better!

dubLeE.com || Slide

I haven't added the content for it yet but I have dummy text in there to get a feel for it. I still have some tweaking to do but for the most part, it's good to go.
It's been tested in FireFox and IE7 so most people should see everything correctly. If not let me know, and I will take care of it.

What do you guys think?

I can't understand what the text says... but it's quite pretty. Animations are a bit weird sometimes though.

I love it! Its very different, I have to see another site with a layout like this one. Great job.

The only thing that bothers me, is the limegreen background with white text. The text is a little hard to read, since they are both bright colors. As for the rest, BRAVO!

H - The text is just dummy text, it's not really supposed to be readable. You said the animations are a bit weird sometimes, what do you mean?

Much improvement! The height from the top of the page to the top of the content could be played with a bit.... it's a bit excessive, but that can also be left for uniqueness I guess. Anyways, that white text on lime green is ultimately the only real problem I see, as roxy pointed out. Try this

for the text color.

Oh, umm, I realized what H was talking about, watch the rounded corners as they slide in/out. That could be fixed up a bit too. =/

PS: sorry if this turned into a double post.... xD Double was active and I like to make sure people with RSS feeds get the skivy.

Yeah I do need to work on the text, thanks Gamer, I'll test that color out.
And yeah the excessive height from the top was actually intentional.

Ah ok, the rounded corners! I noticed that too but I couldn't figure how to fix that so I just figured it was a small price to pay for the overall design.

I like the site, it's very clean but it gave me a headache just moving around all the links.

Then again I don't think a lot of people intentionally click the links on opposite sites of the page just so it moves around more
