Does anybody know of a easy setup that I can get going.
I found a couple but they require a ton of editing files and stuff. This is what I want. I want to find some sort of CMS system that I can integrate phpp 3 for a guild website. I'm working on this for a client so time is an issue. I have been unable to find anything onlinei that has been helpful thus far. ![]() |

"2) Dragonfly CPGNuke: The final version of Dragonfly 9.0.1 was released a few days ago. Very functional CMS with pre-installed Coppermine gallery, pre-installed phpBB forums, and lots more in the package. CPGNuke was originally based on a PHP-Nuke 6.5 template integrated with Coppermine gallery but has since diverted into their more personalize mySQL tables and functions."
Found at: Bulletin Board Thought it might help.

upon further searching it looks like the phpbb forum that comes with it isn't actually phpbb version 3.
Back to the drawing board. |

yeah. I would rather have all of this stuff in one but the way it's looking I'm gonna have to install everything as a standalone and users are just gonna have to be annoyed with a million different login accounts.

What we did was rewrite the login and login processing page for our forum. It would see if the user existed in the CMS database and then if it did, it would authenticate them. It would create a sortof dummy account on the forum to store their forum profile information. The admin area was the only part that requires an actual forum login since the dummy accounts' passwords were randomly encrypted strings... I doubt it's secure, but yeah... We just wanted something quick and dirty to avoid having multiple logins. We also have it check some session variables from the CMS in hopes of preventing anything bad from happening.

Well I don't know how to script so I'm pretty much stuck using what is already available.
Anybody is welcome to give me their input though or even hop on board to help with the project. :P |

Try a JOOMLA site with Joomlaboard. Unless you're planning on hundreds of posts per hour it should be fine.
EDIT - they changed the name of Joomlaboard to FIREBOARD....
