FlameTide.com, all you need to do is go to the website, download it and upload it to your space.

Theres an easy installer. (dont forget to creat an SQL database)

I don't see any sense in your windows anology.

Im not good at installing that junk- I used to be but now it seams like its useless because I get errors all the time.

But why is it an outdated version exactley? Even 6.8 would be nice to have

Well it depands on the version of scripta that's on your server.

But installing phpNuke or any other script like that is easy.

1) download a .zip file.
2) unzip it.
3) upload to server.
4) go to site.com/where_you_uploaded/installer*
5) pick your settings and it installs. (at this stage its as easy an install as with scripta)

*where the installer is located depands on the script. it will say where to go in the readme file.

Anybody can do it, theres nothing to it. :happyday:

Some scripts need an mySQL database.
You create one via Cpanel...

The installer will ask you the username and password for the SQL database you made.

what scripta does, is create a mySQL database for you, with a random username and password and fills it in instead of you, for the scripts installer.

phpNuke has a readme file, that explains in detail how to install it.
So do all of the other scripts...

Scripta is still in developement right now. We are working to get all of the scripts updated to the latest version, but Scripta is much better than Fantasico ever was. No more of those pesky bugs...
