Ok, in http://surmunity.surpasshosting.com/...showtopic=3643 it was stated that Scripta was being worked on, and it could only upgrade what it had installed.

So how do we upgrade an Invision PB install that was done under Fantastico, and not lose existing data?

Thanks,

In the middle level he is still useless but is aware of his own insufficiencies and can also see the insufficiencies of others. In a higher level he has pride concerning his own ability, rejoices in praise from others, and laments the lack of ability in his fellows. This man has worth. In the highest level a man has the look of knowing nothing.

Well, if you're like me you would just upgrade it manually.

But, since you're probably not, I'd suggest e-mailing support or waiting until someone figures out a way.

Asoc would you share the steps you took?

I've downloaded the install pkg for 1.3 and backed-up the 1.1.2 Board in use.

If you were successful, your procedure might insure that I don't make a fatal mistake.

The easy way:

1) do a new install with the latest version.
2) login to the CP of the old forum and do a DB backup.
3) login to the CP of the new board and restore the DB.

all done.
