Hello,

I have a strange problem with my invision board. I setup the board using scripta service. I have 2 other websites with Surpass and they have both worked out fine.

For some reason this setup takes you back to my index or home page when you click on any link. I can't get into the board to do anything?

Any ideas on where to start looking?

Thanks,

Before you go to http://forums.invisionpower.com/ you might want to try deleting your forum and do a fresh installation since you aren't using it the way it is anyway.

Well not good

I was told I needed to buy a registration. So I guess I am on my own. I may try and install the phpbb on my own. I was hoping for a forum on this website but I guess for now I may not get one...

I hope the phpbb works out better than the invision bb...

Thanks for the replies... :pleasehelp:

Its not a registration issue at all. I saw your ticket and have been looking into this. I *think* the problem is that you have the domain's DNS set to route through Roadrunner first, which forwards the traffic over to us if it is for the website. I believe the session information/cookies are getting lost in the process and that is what is causing it, but still need to investigate some more.

Thank you for the reply!

Yes that may be it. The sidneyfirst.com is / was registered as a mail server before the website was completed which probably wasn't correct order. While on the mail server we cannot view the actual webpages and have to use an IP address going to Road runner DNS.

If there is anything I can do on my end let me know. I truly appreciate the reply and help.

Actually, the best thing to do is to have the domain set to point to our servers. We can make the adjustments to point all mail traffic over to the Roadrunner servers. Quite a few people are actually setup like this.
