Hello! Just signed up about an hour ago
.I'm very new to CPanel, and I can't see a way to use email through a subdomain (i.e. mail sub.domain.com).Is this even possible? A little google researching makes me think it's NOT possible, but wow, I'd hate to have to change settings and contacts, etc... Thanks for any info!! |

yes it is
Create your subdomain first. Then in cpanel go to mail manager / then add/remove mail accounts Just below the last listed e-mail there should be a link that says add an account. From there you type in the e-mail (the part before the ) and then the list box lets you set it to either the main domain or any subdomains you have created. |

How wonderful, thanks!!
We hadn't added the subdomain before we tried the email address (trying to do them together in organized groups ), so the drop-down just had the main domain...At any rate, we added it. Thanks again!!! |
