OK, new to here. So far so good. As a typical guy, I jump in with both feet.

I set up Livehelp 2.7. Went flawlessly. Looks pretty cool; has what we need. BUT....

If I am online in the admin (either status) and somone goes into my site, the browser locks up. Pert near everytime. I have to force it closed and restart the browser and log back in.

I have been able to talk to myself (boring as heck) thru my dsl and a laptop on dialup. Yes, it locked up but worked when i logged back in.

Furthermore.... I can only edit pushes and comments when in an active chat. From the settings page the links wont work. Also, intalking with myself I tried some pushes. They sent but did not work on the laptop.

Anyone ever have sucess with this? Can I borrow a cup of advice?

Hi MJCW.

The best free advice I can give you is to visit http://www.craftysyntax.com/support/

They also have an old support forum there that may have the answer for your issues. But they don't have any live help.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks George

Been there, done that. Can't really find any answer there. But, perhaps I know the problem.

I'm going to wait until they finish the cable upgrade out here (we're in the middle of nowhere) when they change us to a bi-directional digital. We use cable down but phone up. I think that this may be part of the problem.

We've been here a year and the upgrade has always been a month away. At least I can now look out the window and see then stringing new lines! I'm told that the over-heads have been activated, now they only need to run new lines in and replace the box.

Thanks,

M
