removing certain address from webstats
is there a way that i can have my visits to my site be blocked from the webstats? i can see that a large number of the hits are from my ip, so every thing is skewed becase of refreshing the page after changes or editing in movable type.
actaully, it would be cool if there was a service or application to run that would prevent my site from noticing my computer, in case my ip changes. |

the easy way to do this is let awstats do what it does.
then when you want to see summary of last visits - enter the host name to exclude in the statistics in the exclude filter field and hit update. if you are asking about something that tracks visitors to your site outside of cpanel UI / awstats - sure there's stuff out there and it can exclude your IP. you can try this... http://www.nedstat.com/uk/f70129e70126_index.htm |
