Custom Error Page?
This is a first. I created a custom error page and saved it as 404.shtml as directed. It doesn't work. I have never had this problem in the past. They always have worked though I usually save them as missing.html and then edit the .htaccess file.
I did even try editing the .htaccess file in hopes that would work. It didn't. I put in... ErrorDocument 404 /404.shtml ...which is what I have always used in the past (only used missing.html instead). Any suggestions how to get this to work? I must be doing something wrong. Thanks. |

Go into cPanel, and use the "Error Pages" option to create your custom error pages with the forms available. Easy as cheese! (Given that cheese is easy, of course.)
