Cms systems
Well, I see you guys talk about CMS all the time. They can be nice but are quite restrictive. If you truly want a unique, powerful, and well laid out cms then I'd suggest textpattern. It's also one of the most customizable cms out there. The whole system is setup to allow you to even integrate it into your site instead of making itself it's own site. Well worth a try if you guys really get into using a cms.

Would anyone mind pointing me in the direction of a good CMS? I want to use one so it's easy to customise my files but don't want it as a portal, such as nuke.
I am having a look at Textpattern now. -- Just had a look at Textpattern, and it looks like a blogger sort of. Is it possible to use it to design any sort of page? |

Yes, textpattern can design an entire site of any size. It uses xhtml and css and is the most flexible and customizable CMS ever written, plus a new version just came out. Do yourself a favor and switch to textpattern, you won't be disappointed. You can get it here: http://textpattern.com/deanload/

It's way more than just a blog, it can be a site or a blog or a site with a blog. Check out reviews on it here: http://www.opensourcecms.com/index.p...sk=view&id=177
