Scripta is pretty much the same as Fantastico, just it doesn't have subdomain installation I guess.
And it's run by Surpass, isn't that enough ? ![]() |

Well yeah it is just like Fantastico, but I really dig the subdomain installation thing, but if we can't have that then I guess we will have to live. *L*

Ummm. you know, you can install to any 'top level' folder and make that a subdomain, right?

I'd like to have Scripta install scripts into any folder - whether it be a top-level, second-level, third-level folder or whatever. What I would really like, for example, is something like:
http://sub.domain.com/4images http://sub.domain.com/phpbb http://sub.domain.com/tikiwiki and so on. We know we can make a sub-domain out of a top-level folder easily through our control panel, but since Scripta doesn't allow installation in anything but top-levels, we can't install scripts into folders within folders. Since sub-domains are top-level folders in their own right, http://sub.domain.com is basically http://www.domain.com/sub as well. So to create http://sub.domain.com/4images, it means we need Scripta to install into a folder located at http://www.domain.com/sub/4images ... thus needing Scripta to install in more than just top-level folders. This would be good because I believe a number of us have sub-domains for hosted sites and so on, and it would be good to have individual galleries, message boards etc. for each sub-domain. Rather than have a million script folders on the top-level of our domains. I hope I got that right. It's late here where I'm at. :bluewacko
