Xoops Help
HI! I was just wondering how do you change the top banner for xoops... I think it has something to do with the template... Though i dont want to tuch anything and screw it up

I don't think you can do that. XOOPS has its own forum module installed in it, or that you can add.
I have yet to install it, so I'm not positively sure about the forum aspects. |

For the banner, go into the admin section. Hover over the button on the left labeled "System Admin", and a menu will pop up. One of the items on that menu is "banners". CLick on that, and you can add banners, determine how often they are shown, who the banners are for (in case you are selling banner space), etc... As for themes, where are you trying to download them from? Probably one of the best places to start looking at xoops themes is xoops-themes.org. It's a French site, but you can click on the English flag at the top to put most of the site in English, and they have a bunch of themes on there. You can try out different ones on the site. When you find one you like, odds are you can download it from their download section. If not, note the name and I'll try to find it for you. John
