Invision Template Error
Hey everyone,
I've recently installed an Invision Board for myself using Scripta. I want to get in there and mess with the HTML and the like, but it won't let me. It keeps giving me errors: In HTML Templates, if I choose "Export" under "Invision Power Board Template Set," it tells me "Can't query the information from the database." And if I go into "Manage HTML," all I see are the "Quick Clicks," and if I try to choose one of those, it tells me that "No ids selected, please go back and select some before submitting the form." I tried creating a new skin, and it told me to CHMOD "Skins" to 777, which I did. Created the new skin, tried to edit that stuff, and it still won't let me. I really want to get in there and mess around. What am I doing wrong? |

Hi,
I found this post so I didn't bother to make a new one. I'm having the same problem(CHMOD to 0777) and a friend tells me that some hosts don't allow modifying the default template. Is that the reason that I can't change the skin? |

Ive used IPB many times and I don't understand why you guys are getting that problem. Are you both using the IPB 1.3.1 from scripta?
Instead of hitting Export isnt there an edit button? It still doesn't work after you have CHMOD'd the file or files? |

CHMod /skin/ and all subdirectories/files. It works for me.
E.X. /skin, /skin/s1, /skin/s1/skin_*.php

Thank you guys, sorry couldn't post this any earlier, haven't been home in the past 3 days. I'm starting to get the hang of everything, especially with help from other users like you guys!
