InvisionBoard on a SubDomain?

Hi all!

I"d like to ask somthing about InvisionBoard.
Actually i have a main domain (my account) and an AddOn Domain, but as Far as i can see, I can only use Scripta to install the invision board in the 'top root' of my MainDomain... how can I install it on my AddonDomain?

Even when i log in thru: http://myADDONdomain.com/cpanel - I can only install it on my MainDomain.

Do you guys get it?

Just install it, and move it using cPanel's file manager.

I don't know if IPB will need to know it's own address, so change it if there's something about that in Options or in a config file.

Or better yet, download the latest version and install it directly. I know it's a manual install, but it should not be TOO hard.

isn't your addon domain in its own subfolder of the main domain? Install the IVB in a folder then make a redirect for the addon domain to that folder, wouldn't that work?

Invision Board's config_global.php file requires specific information to tell where it is located at. You can download everything in the folder that scripta created and move the forum anywhere, but you will have to configure the congif_globall.php file to reflect where it has been moved to.
