Which File/s to Edit? - Page 2

Yeah I use the trila and error thing too but I looked for a long time and never found it. Of course I never looked in the obvious places but now I should be able to do a bit more as I know where to look for that stuff at least.

Ok now how do I get rid of the Topic next to the title. I don't want it there at all.

Ok I figured it out.

But now for news posts the date is posted as YYYY/MM/DD and I would like to change it to MM/DD/YYYY and haven't been able to find it yet.

I think the date part is in the Global Language file. You should be able to do a search for it on the xoops site and find it fairly easily. In fact, I think I asked on there once before.

Yep it was in
domain/xoops/language/english/global.php
line 160 and then below that it actual has the characters to use to edit it.
