Transferring a CMS with PHP and MySQL
Hi, I have a XOOPS page set up currently, but I want to get it off my server, and put it on my clients page. He will soon be setting up his own hosting plan with surpass, and I want to transfer everything to his site (themes, files, databases, etc.) I have absolutely no experience with databases and php, so is there an easy way to do this?

You need to find what config files need to be edited.
They should be simple edits - change path to "xxx" instead of "yyy". The database is a different issue. I think you have to do a dump, then create a new database and user and import. Check the Xoops forums at xoops.org (i think). John
