hi...im new to all this and i have many questions:

1 - when i first started using surpass cpanel a couple weeks ago, there was a button for php that let me create forums...this button is not there today. what happened and what must i do to make it stay where it belongs?

2 - i upload music using cute ftp. i want to be able to link people to a song so they can directly d/l it from my link. my domain is spiritavenue.com, my song is called hot_song.mp3, and its in my file manager in a folder called audio. how do i link it?

um...i think thats it for now...please help

1. You can create forums by clicking on phpBB, that's a forum. Or if you click on Scripta, there you will find invision board, etc.

2. www.spiritavenue.com/audio/hot_song.mp3

First, welcome to Surmunity.

Secondly, to answer your questions:

1. If your cPanel has changed, this will require an email to support [at] surpasshosting [dot] com. Make sure you specify your domain and the server that you are on. Many times, they will do an upgrade to cPanel, and don't get the panel set back to the Surpass standard. Regardless, they will have to look at it for you.

2. To provide a download link to your song, all you need to do is provide a link on your page, such as:

<a href="http://www.spiritavenue.com/audio/hot_song.mp3">Hot Song</a>

This assumes that the audio directory is inside your publi_html directory.
