link text decoration
I seem to be having a problem here. yet again.
when I make a link with css, with all the different properties, I'm still getting that ugly dashed box around a visited link. how do I get rid of that? I tried text-decoration: none; in the visited link section of the css, but it still shows up. is there something else I should try? if you want to see what I mean it's in http://ArtistikRevolution.com/current thanks in advanced. - Dale?

you need to declare links as such, and in this order: a a:link a:visited a:hover a:active if you do it out of order, some browsers won't pick up the styles. just one of those things. and that wouldn't be text-decoration... text-decoration:none and text-decoration:underline control the underlined state of a link. if anything, that would probably be borders. try border:0; just to be safe. If it's not that, then I really have no clue :p |

I think that box you're talking about is a marquee type thing. Try uploading the same page with a different name and link to that, I'm pretty sure that box only stays when you're moving around in the same page.
I don't think it has anything to do with your CSS |

I updated things last night and they are no longer a problem. I was going to update things on here but fell asleep on the couch with my laptop on my lap during the upload process. I woke up to find the upload done, the connection disconnected and about 50 IM's from people asking me if I was there... which I wasn't.
Anyway, it's no longer an issue, thank you all for your help. - Dale?
