Fading Links

is this possible with CSS? I read on another board that it isn't, that you have to use a java script, but I thought I'd ask the CSS Guru's here.

And by fading links, I mean like the ones here on this board.

Well I used the javascript and CSS combo. I think I have noticed some errors at times pop up in the status bar. :o

yeah, i went to view the source of the page and found out that it uses a javascript, which is what led me to search and find what i found about not being able to do it purely with css, but i wasn't sure if it would be possible or not. still, i like it on here. very cool.

Offically: nope.

The only possibility would be using filter CSS attributes if it's possbile at all. The CSS filter property is proprietry technology inserted haphazardly into false circulation not cleared by the W3C by Micro$oft, the company who loves to ~(poopie!)~ where it sleeps! Filters are evil, don't use them.

It's 2:45am... what kind of sleep schedule do you Orlando admins run on?
