this is one of the best uses for css if you ask me it saves alot of time and for a page with tons of images it takes out a few bytes of code

ethereal, thank you SO much for posting this. i have had this weird problem of a border appearing on just a couple of buttons (posted here ) and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what happened. I'm still determined to find the solution but at least this gives me a quick fix for now. Thank you SO much.
