Another piece of goodness for hosters using xoops

Just saw this module and thought I'd share:

NetQuery

Description:
Credits:
Module Courtesy of RVirtue. Thank you, Richard, for a great module!

Description:
Netquery provides users of your site with a range of common network tools, including Whois lookups, DNS queries, ICMP ping, traceroute and server port checking. Each feature can be enabled or disabled individually by the administrator. The administrator can also configure the Whois feature to specify which Whois server is associated with each domain name.ext entry and can add, modify and delete those entries in the Netquery Whois data table.

Limitations:
This module requires admin/root access rights to the server's ping and tracert executables. The ping and tracert commands will not function in a shared hosting environment. All other functions work correctly.

I haven't had the chance to try it yet, but I will.

Enjoy.

John

Failure is not an option. It comes standard with all Microsoft products.

Intresting. I don't think I have any use for it with any of my sites, but that's a pretty cool module.

I thought it might be good for resellers for their site. It would be an easy way to incorporate those tools into their reseller site.
