Subdomain problem

I set up a subdomain with a coresponding FTP directory, and I uploaded a site to that subdomain. Well, when I visit the subdomain URL (example, blends.loud-silence.org) it says "specified server cannot be found. But it works fine if I visit loud-silence.org/blends. What's wrong with the subdomain?

IT can take an hour or 2 for a subdomain to resolve correctly everywhere.

It's been well over 2 hours. I set it up and uploaded around 8 this morning.

Are you sure you didn't set it up before and remove it, and set it up again? Google has a cache of it...

Looks like you may need to email support about it and give more details of what has been done in the past and now.

Actually, sort of. What happened was, I set up the FTP account then I went and set up the subdomain. Later, I went back to the FTP manager to delete another one, and accidentally deleted the one I didn't want to, and I set it up again. But it wasn't even working when I set it up the first time.

Ahh, see...

Cpanel plays DNS games when you make Subdomains... so you have GOT to be careful.

I've accidentally deleted one, tried to re-add it, and it would not re-add until the admins fixed my DNS zone file...
