kaotik,

Glad to see another fellow xoopster around here. There are actually a fair number of people from the xoops forums that host here, though they don't post much in this forum.

Thanks for working on Webmail2. It's been on my to-do list forever, and never could seem to make it to the top. I think it is something that xoops has needed for a long time. I'm surprised that it has taken this long to come up with a usable webmail module.

If you feel like solving a problem, I left one over at xoops.org. I'm jfernau over there, because I couldn't register as john. It's being a real pain in my butt, so if you're so inclined...

Take care, and post more often. We're all family here you know.

John

Hi John and djsckizo

John; are you refering to your post regarding sort order of modules in the admin area? If so have you read the solution posted by chapi found here:
http://www.xoops.org/modules/newbb/v...=12700&forum=7

There is also some hacks in that thread but I haven't tried them, I've only used chapi's solution, which does work.

I've been trying to edit the adminmenu.php file and it won't let me. Won't let me edit it, and won't let me change the permissions so I can. How did you do it? Are you using 2.0.7.3?

The hacks would have worked, as it uses the menu weight in the control panel instead of module_id. Unfortunately, those links are no longer valid.

I may have to try to duplicate the hack since ackbarr showed me where it's being set.

Also, I just believe something is wrong, because the modules are in the correct order by module_id, it is just choosing to display them out of order. Grrr....

Oh well, thanks for the help. Gotta get ready for church.

John
