Help with 4 images

I need some help please!! I installed the gallery (4images) and I'm kinda stuck,I need to know where to store my thumbnails this is what I'm having trouble with:

Conversion tool for thumbnails
ImageMagick (http://www.imagemagick.org)
GD (http://www.boutell.com/gd)
NetPBM (http://netpbm.sourceforge.net)

and these are in the drop down menu beside it:
None

ImageMagick

GD Bibliothek

NetPMB
and then this:

If you have selected "ImageMagick" or "NetPBM", enter path
and this is what's written in the box beside it:
/usr/bin/convert

Please help and thanks so much,hope this isn't too confusing....

Jen,

Select ImageMagick.

You can leave the path as it is.

If it doesn't accept that path, you can try these:

/usr/bin/

/usr/X11R6/bin/

/usr/bin/X11/

How did you get ImageMagick to install? I attempted the installation but it wanted me to run a configure.sh, which I don't know how to do from the cpanel or anything like that. Could you help me install this app, I am currently using NetPBM or whatever and am told ImageMagick is 100x faster and better.

unless ur one a dedicated server i dont think a user can install any of the programs. Most of the programs needed are already on the server and all that is needed is that path. I might be wrong......

ok, so I do I get it installed on my server, its shared.

Usually most of what you need is preinstalled. And usually at the right place where it should.

And if something needed is missing ... you can ask support to install it. I read somewhere they install common things needed for websites.
