Catching Hotlinkers
Is there a way I could view who's direct linking image files? I mean, the webalizer stats are helpful, but I don't think they tell me what sites are direct linking.
I don't want anyone to direct link my images, but I do want to occasionally link my own images (ie. avatars) for forum use, etc. and stuff. Of course, there's the easy way of turning on hotlinking protection, but that then I'd have to go through and enter the sites I use my images on and it prevents people from viewing the image path which I sometimes allow friends to view (ie. http://domain/image.gif). So I just want to see where my images are being hotlinked from. Is that possible? |

you'll have to go through your own site reports...this can take FOREVER if you are hit a lot.
Raw Log Manager will be your best bet if you want to track EVERYTHING....but like I said, if you are recieving a lot of hits, this will take you forever to go through.
