Mysterious deleted files

I didn't know what other topic to put this under.

3 private FTP accounts that I have set up are having their files mysteriously deleted. They're not being touched by anybody else that I know of. Is anybody else having this problem or what is this? Can I fix it through the cpanel?

According to what I have read through out surmunity, it is a cpanel issue. For some reason it keeps removing them. This doesn't happen alot of the time and seems to be random.

Wow, thats just freaky. Do you mean cPanel in general or the one installed on Surpass servers, because I never had problems with it in all my times using cPanel.

I've still never had problems with this. Than again, I hardly ever use any extra ftp names as well. From the looks of it though, it's just cpanel in general. Admins, feel free to point out if I'm wrong about it, but I think it's just cpanel in general.

Note: in my web history, I've used 3 other webhosts who used cpanel and I've never actually run across this problem.

I've been using cPanel for about 2 years already, havent seen the problem, and like you said, I havent used FTP accounts that much, so the bug is only if you set up FTP accounts?
