Sorry, you are not allowed to add any more then (0) addon domains! The below addon domain was not setup!

I have the power package, I'm allowed one add-on domain right?

Well, one reason might be that my domain isn't even completely setup yet since I created it around 3 in the morning last night (I couldn't sleep so I registered a domain... ). But in cpanel I see this:

Addon Domains 0 / 0

Shouldn't it read 0 / 1?

Yes, you would need to contact support and tell them you have the power package but your addon domain is not available.

I sent a ticket to support earlier, they fixed it now but a new question, I set it up and got a list of nameserver ip's but the service I registered my domain with gives me this error:

Invalid domain name extension: *.*.*.*

I'm going to go look around but any ideas? Can't I just use the nameserver I have for my original domain?

Sounds like you are going to have to contact your registrar's tech support and ask them why that is happening... I have no clue why it is doing that...

I just sent them an email, maybe they only accept hostnames and not only ip's? But what kind of service would do that? I'm using hostnames with my primary domain, not ip's, and it works.

Can I just use the same nameservers for my add-on domain?

Some registrars only accept IPs, some only hostnames, and some accept both. Varies a great deal...

And yes, the nameservers for the add-on will be the same as the primary domains nameservers.

I just got a response from my registrar, they do not accept IP address's for nameservers. That clears it up a bunch. Thanks Patrick.

Registrars are just like people. Well, I guess they ARE people.
