Status locked

My domain name has been in the locked status for about two weeks now, how much longer will it be until this domain name is deleted and free to be registered again?

Depends on the registrar. I know I just recieved notification the other day for one of mine that I let lapse because I didn't want it any more, but it lapsed about a month ago.

becareul, many registrars offer expiring domains up for auction to their customers before they release it back into the pool
