Are you getting the cpanel login box to appear or are you not even getting to that step? If you can get to that step, than perhaps your password is wrong, which is a problem you can fix by reseting it with the password reset link that should appear after 3 failed logins.
If all else fails, you can contact support and they can look into the problem. However, try visiting cpanel at this link: http://72.29.89.97:2082 and using the information you got in your welcome letter. If it doesn't let you in, try to reset your password. If that doesn't work, contact support at the help desk: http://desk.surpasshosting.com

hmm, i used the same login as i used to log into the surpass hosting site.
i didnt really receive a detailed email. it just said thanks for signing up with us. i got all my information like ip and nameserver by clicking the "View" on the surpass control panel. |

Ok, I see. They are different. Your cpanel username is your domain name truncated usually. Like, what is the temporary url? If you look, it will be something like ipaddress/~myusername
That part of it is your username. The part after the tilda ~. Your password and username should have been included in the Welcome Email with your nameserver, temporary address, and other instructions about your site and account. When did you sign up for your account? If it was tonight, your welcome email probably hasn't been sent yet because your account may not even be setup yet. You normally get two emails..a confirmation email, and a welcome email with your details.
