DNS; IP problems

I just ordered my shared hosting and I can log into "my.surpass." But I can't access my website... I bought a Yahoo! domain prior to my purchase of hosting at surpasshosting. I didn't receive an IP in my email and the DNS name server I have ns1026.dizinc.com and ns1027.dizinc.com.

I found the IP: 72.29.89.97.

As for the CPanel. I can only assume you've tried the login/password that you recieved in the welcome mail and they did not work. Is that correct?

Also... the domain doesn't work still.

Do I just put ns1026.dizinc.com and ns1027.dizinc.com in as my nameservers?

I saw on another post that an admin/moderator gave the questionee another nameserver or something.

Those should be the correct name servers for sh98

oh, i just did a whois on the ip and it said the name servers were

PTR1.DIMENOC.COM
PTR2.DIMENOC.COM

which ones should i use?

and as for the cpanel login problem?

Not those, the NS ones. A reverse ip search shows that sites using that ip are using the NS ones you just mentioned.

Also, please register with the forum so we know we're talking to the same person about the same issue.
