I have a domain with an other registrar and have been trying to update the nameservers to Surpass's. The other registrar doen NOT accept them because they are in the same subnet (ns800.dizinc.com, ns801.dizinc.com) or because it 'does not know about this domain' (it is a .nl domain)

It looks like these DNS do not have Reverse DNS set up, I am doing this now. Please let me know if they are accepted now. (Reverse DNS is a usual requirement of country domains.. this should fix it I hope.)

Whatever you did it didn't work... but thanks anyway ;-)
this is the report i get from the other registrars auto check system when trying to change the default dns: -------- * general reports Warning: all specified name servers are on sub-net 72.29.77.0/24 * primary name server "ns800.dizinc.com." [BROKEN] Broken: the name server does not know of domain "example.nl." * secondary name server "ns801.dizinc.com." Info: name server looks correctly configured. ------------- btw: happy new year to all! |
