Need your help...
I registered a domain with North Studio. They said I need to contact my host and have them do something to the domain so that it works and can be used on my site. I already have the correct NS inputted, I just need something to be done that allows the domain to work.
Domain: suikolove.com Thanks in advance for the help. P.S.: Recommended wait time is 12-24 hours, but I registered the domain about 48 hours ago, so I'm asking for assistance now.  |

Hi Sanehouse, welcome to the forum! =)
If you have put in our DNS, then that is all that you have to do, that was it. =) You can start uploading to your site using the IP of the server (which is in the welcome email) so that when the domain starts working, all of your files are already there, waiting for the web to see.

I've had the site since August 2nd, 2006. But I bought a second domain on Friday to use with it, and I was informed that I'd have to get someone from here to enable it for me. It's been about 48 hours and my domain, http://www.suikolove.com, isn't working.

You should log into your cPanel. Click on Add-On Domains. Type in your domain and information, and voila, all done
. Just log into your FTP and go to the folder you named when adding your domain, and upload your files there.

Hi,
In your maindomain.com/cpanel there is a section called Addon Domains. In there you will type a folder name for the site, and it will automatically create a subdomain for you. Sometimes you will be able to load the site immediately, or it may take a few hours for suikolove.com to start loading. Fill in New Domain Name: suikolove.com Username/directory/subdomain Name: suiko Password: And click Add! After you click the button it may take a few minutes for the next page to load. You'll see a message that states Bind reloading and then a success message.
