Is DNS11.SURPASSHOSTING.COM down? Can't get email

I'm getting this error message when I try and send email to my account:

DNS11.SURPASSHOSTING.COM
Is the DNS at godaddy.com
for my website.

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 9): 550-"The recipient cannot be verified. Please check all recipients of this
550 message to verify they are valid."

I'm thinking this is related to the onelove promotion, but I'm not sure.

well, i might be wrong, but unless you ordered this plan years ago (which is entirely possible), the name servers that SurpassHosting uses are in the format of

ns1110.dizinc.com

and such was the case when i originally ordered my first reseller account in 2004, so they have been in that format for several years now 3+

so dns11.surpasshosting.com seems like it doesnt fit the profile... have you used this nameserver before? or is this a new onelove account? eitherway, i suspect that it is the wrong name server you are using? or perhaps they switched from dns**.sh.com to ns**.dizinc.com at some point and they just got around to enforcing the change? lol

We stopped using those DNS about two years ago, and the DNS was removed from old servers. It's strange that you are just now having the issue, it must be ISP related in some way. Wow!

Please change your DNS to the following:

ns742.dizinc.com
ns743.dizinc.com

I changed the DNS and but still no email

Hi Thanks for the quick reply. I changed the DNS to the new name servers (I've been a customer for a LONG time.) I know it takes time for the info to be propagated, but I just tested it and still get this error message.

Maybe it will just take time. Luckily all I get is spam these days hopefully no real people have written me.

now i remember the change... lol you sure it was only two years ago? That would be about March 05... well, not far off... im pretty sure i registered on surmunity BECAUSE of the switch over lol... I got an email about IP's changing, but it didnt mention anything about name servers. It said "For more information regarding this change see this link" at which i didnt feel i needed more info, as it looked like you were simply changing the servers IP. So when my sites stopped loading a week later, i was all like wtf, took a look at the email, read the extended info, and then for some reason, either it was posted, or suggested in the thread, that we subscribe to the forum lol

anyways, enough of the history on why i joined surmunity... lol.

I'm still not getting email to my domain

I fixed the DNS name servers but I'm still getting the error message.

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

myname begleyconsulting.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 9): 550-"The recipient cannot be verified. Please check all recipients of this
550 message to verify they are valid."
