Transferring domain & hosting - Page 2

Oh, I forgot to add ... I did get them to unlock it for me. The domain was unlocked as of last night. So hopefully it will eventually go through.

I did email Fatcow and ask them to authorize the transfer request (come on baby... just move on) but they said they had no idea what I was talking about. Not good. Since Fatcow is really just a front for Tucows hopefully it is Tucows that is getting the actual transfer and as such they might actually know what to do with it.

Geez I haven't had to break it off with a Fatcow since high school

All done. I can't believe how smoothly it sent overall. I got the transfer request fromTucows last night late and I clicked it and within a few minutes I got the approval from GoDaddy. I then changed DNS servers and went to sleep. When I woke up propagation had already occurred and my new site was up and ready to go.

I installed everything and restored my backups and it looks exactly the same. None of my members will ever have a clue that anything happened at all.

That's great, they might notice the site is quicker to load now though
