Help with new ADD-ON?

Hi there,
I just bought a new domain, and in the domain CP I put the nameservers of my domain delfinweb.org, but im not sure If that works, that will make it work?
the domain in the cp i buy in another company, and says locked, I think i can't change nameservers but anyway my question is, do i have to put the same nameservers I point to delfinweb.org right?
thanks!

Wherever your add-on domain is registered (GoDaddy, Surpass, Network Solutions, etc..) you must first change the Name Servers to the same Name Servers that your primary domain uses.

For example, my main domain has name servers

NS1056.DIZINC.COM
NS1057.DIZINC.COM

All of my add-on domains are using the same name server settings.

That "locked" option you see just means that some other domain registrar can't just transfer the domain to them without the current one unlocking it first with your permission. You can always change the name servers.

The add-on process in cPanel will not work until after you change the name servers at the domain registrar.

In short I believe the answer to your question is, yes.
