2 domains 2 differnet sites 1 host account
I am trying to use 2 different domains, petersharp.tv and puppetfactory.tv to go to 2 seperate websites on my 1 account.
if you type in petersharp.tv it goes to one website if you type in puppetfactory.tv it goes to a different website all while under the same host account. Is it possible to do this? |

Yep, all of my sites in my signature are all on the same account. markheadrick.com is my main domain and the other likes pelicar.info are add-on domains. The add-on domain's root folder is a directory below root folder of the main domain. /public_html/ is the root folder of my main domain and /public_html/pelicar/ is the root folder for my pelicar.info domain.

You must first change the Name Servers for your add-on domain to match that of your primary domain wherever your domains are registered (GoDaddy, Enom, Surpass, Network Solutions, etc..). You should use the name servers that Surpass sent you for your server.
Until this is done, creating the add-on domain will fail in cPanel. I am going under the assumption that you have already registered both of those domains with some registrar. My suspicion is that this is the reason that it is failing.

I am having a similar problem. I just purchased a new domain and have all the dns in GoDaddy to be the same as my first domain. My problem is I don't want to use the domain anymore...and want to completely delete it from my cpanel and replace it with a new domain. Any suggestions???

Or, if you mean you want to delete the primary domain (the one that you signed up with), you'll have to contact support to change it. If this is within the first 30 days of your account, i believe it is a "FREE" change, but if not, then it is $15 one time fee. This fee is to prevent abuse/high demand.

You don't have to change the main domain, just add the new as an addon-domain and leave the main one wrong. It's what I do so I have a neater public_html/domains rather than fies and domains...
