Question New domain name in my reseller hosting plan?

Hi all,

I'm new here, and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I want to host another domain from my reseller hosting plan, but can't figure exactly how to do it. I also want to pay for the domain from my same account that I have my reseller hosting plan on, so I can view all of my different bills on the same account. Here's what I've tried so far:
I went to my WHM, went to Packages and clicked "Add Packages." Once I finished that, I then went to Create A New Account and then linked that account to the new package I created, but that's as far as I can figure it out, and I'm not even for sure if that's all 100% what I'm supposed to do. I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks,
~ Lonnie

So far you've done everything right. The last step is to change the Nameservers for the domain. This step is done wherever the site is registered. After you change the Nameservers it can take up to 48 hours (usually much faster) before you can access the site via its URL.

You say you want to "pay for the domain". To me that sounds like the domain hasn't been registered yet. You need to register the domain so that you can change it's Nameservers.

Thanks for the reply. Correct, I haven't registered the domain yet. I'm trying to register it with the same user name/email that I signed up for my hosting on (so it's all on the same billing account), but apparently surpasshosting and surpassdomains have two separate user account systems? I'd appreciate any help on this.

Thanks,
~ Lonnie
