the www doesnt show up

The last 2 weeks and every time i setup a website under my reseller account i m trying to reach my website from http://www.mysite.com
and when i do this i m getting redirected to http://mysite.com
without the 'www'.

Just now i created a new account and i tried to reach my cpanel from
http://www.mynewsite.com/cpanel but it doesnt work,
when i type http://mynewsite.com/cpanel it works.

The thing is that i m having this problem on my account and one of my friends account as well who is a reseller as me in surpass.

At the same time i get errors in all my Google Sitemaps:

Quote:
URL timeout: DNS lookup timeout
I think this happened the same time i saw the new cpanel and whm running. I dont know if it has anything to do with it.

Submit a support ticket, they will need to check your dns record setup and also the apache configuration.

yeah i just did that, these websites are all Joomla but keep in mind that i m using the same version and htaccess in all of them.
In fact when i open a new website account i m uploading a backup of an already running joomla website and i just change the htaccess(replace old domain to the new one with an editor) and some other things.
Never had a problem with this until now...

Thanx,
i just noticed from the cpanel that all accounts that work have the following Apache version:
Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix)

the new ones(to which this www problem occurs) have this one:
Apache version 1.3.39 (Unix)

so maybe its an Apache configuration that must be made.
