You would normally point DNS for a domain to a new host via your domain registrar e.g. Godaddy, WWD etc.

But why would you want to leave Surpass?

The reason im leaving is nothing to do with surpass and the service they provide, its just that I kinda went into this whole web hosting buisness without knowing too much about it. I tried to create my own website and it just didnt work. Im a freelance Illustrator and I wanted to create an online portfolio to show potential clients my work. Since I failed making my own site I looked elseware and found a company who you can customise their templates of web pages and upload my work. Part of the deal is that I have to use their own host and thats the only reason I want to leave. I sure that surpass would have been fantastic as hosts but unfortunately its just not what I need right now.

Thank you for sharing that.

Do you mind sharing the link of the site? I would like to see what kind of services we could add to improve. Hopefully then one day you can return to us.

Did your DNS change work out ok at the site where you registered your domain?

Hi Kayla the link for the site is www.bigblackbag.com. They really are the best option for me at the moment but be assured that if I ever get my own site as I fully intend to dothen I will be using Surpass. It was my sister who reccomended Surpass as she could not speak highly of you (www.nookandwillow.com). As for my change over I am having trouble. My original registrar was 123-reg,this is who I purchased my name with. Now it seems my domain is registerd to ENOM?? Dont know how this happened but I have no controll over my domain because I dont have an account to log into at ENOM to point to my new host. Can you suggest anything? I am going to give ENOM a call in a bit to try to resolve this but I have read that they will require all sorts of photo i.d as proof of who I am before they give me access to any account containing my domain. This is all very frustrating!!!

Would need to know your domain name to look at the record to try and sort it out.
