subdomain to ip
Hi, I have a domain (nemesia.org) that uses surpasshosting's name servers and goes to a surpasshosting server. The problem is that I want a subdomain (nxn.nemesia.org) to go to my home computer and not the surpasshosting server. Frame or http redirects can't help me here, the subdomain will mostly be used for remote logins via ssh to my home computer. I looked all over to find some way to edit the A record for the subdomain to go to my IP, but no luck. Any ideas on how to make this happen using surpass nameservers?

You will need to open a ticket to ask support to point that particular subdomain to the IP in question.
Should your IP be liable to change it might be prudent to point the subdomain as a CNAME to a hostname provided by a locator service like http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/ (by no means the only one available) Even with reseller accounts it is not the norm at surpass to allow you to do that yourself - but there access can be given on request (possibly with an explanation of why you need to do that)

Been busy with school, and stumbleupon was taking up most of my free time (it's very addictive). I'll start taking a look at the forums again though
