I have a Surpass hosting acount but I registered my domain name with a separate company. I use Surpass to host my website for that account. I have recently received 2 invoices for surpass, 1 for the hosting service and then another for the renewal of my domain name. I have also been invoiced by the company who I purchased the domain name off asking me to renew also. Who should I pay? If I use Surpass to host content on my domain surely they don't become my domain supplier do they? I am very confused! please help me! BEN

but no... I recommend you verify (whois) where the domain is registered, and pay that company. Surpass doesnt automatically take over control of your domain, you would need to transfer the domain to them. id say the most likely scenarios are

A) You transferred the domain to surpass without realizing it? the old company still had you in their billing system (That has happened to me)
B) You are misinterpreting one of the Surpass invoices? maybe?
C) One of them is a scam. (Doesnt mean it was either company, one can fake where email comes from)

If you would post the domain in question someone here can verify where it should be registered (If you dont know how to whois a domain). Otherwise, submit a ticket to the surpass help desk asking why they billed you for the domain that they dont maintain.
