Deleted Subdomains still working?
i was wondering if anybody knows how to solve this
because throughout the years ive been wondering about this.. if i delete a subdomain the subdomain will then take me to the apache/cpanel installation page like here: http://reunion.punchdouble.com how do i completely get rid of the subdomain?!?! can i?

It appears gone for me, this is what I get when I go to the link provided...
"Firefox can't find the server at reunion.punchdouble.com." "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

Sometimes the operating system caches the DNS stuff (I don't know all the technical stuff).
So your computer still knows where the subdomain went and is trying to go there. The IP by default shows the apache/cPanel screen since there's no configuration in the apache conf for the subdomain. If you flush your DNS cache, it should stop showing the page. |
