I've been waiting for the help desk support for a day already and still haven't gotten a reply, and I need to setup this domain for a friend ASAP, so I'm posting here...
My domain name is: lain.nu Addon domain: animewish.net Document root for the addon domain is: /public_html/whip However, when I go to animewish.net, it redirects (even without cloaking) to lain.nu instead of lain.nu/whip (with cloaking) Are my settings incorrect? I have no redirection set for my addon domain obviously. Also, the page does load, which means that the DNS is propagating. Thanks for any help. Last edited by Eraemia; March 25th, 2008 at 1:31 PM. |

In Cpanel, when you create an addon domain, it automatically creates a subdomain with the name of the domain name you are going to use.
EX: addondomain: animewish.net subdomain: lain.nu/animewish When you did this, did you change the subdomain to the name whip? If not, then I would suggest doing this, as this could be your problem. |

The problem is your wordpress install is redirecting you back to lain.nu. You can see this if you rename the index.php file in the "whip" directory to something else, and then try to load up animewish.net, it masks the site correctly and comes up with a directory listing. If you move the file back to index.php, then the problem is back again. So it is most definitely the wordpress configuration.
