I have noticed that some websites offer domains with prices cheaper than others !

why is that happening ?

when i wanted to purchase a domain here, it was 25 dollars.. another place it was 10 dollars.. I need to understand why !

I really loved the community here, and wanted to purchase the hosting plan with the domain too from here.. but it was way more expensive.. is there a reason for that !

The cost fluctuates bc different companies go with different domain resellers... Sites like surpass then have to mark-up the cost to turn a profit. Some resellers charge more for a domain and sometimes sites want to turn a larger profit... that's why the cost fluctuates.

The cheapest way of selling domains is to become a direct seller... I think the application fee is $75,000 and the company must have $250,000 in assets... I could be wrong though. All figures in USD.

I'm gonna have to agree with brandonnn on this one (i can't believe i'm saying this.)

Anyways I have never liked registering my domain with a host because I have had hosts pick up and drop me like a hot potato and go out of business without warning and taking my domain name with them.

That's why I trust godaddy with my domains.

Anyway though it is perfectly safe to register a domain with us. But you can register a domain anywhere you like and still host your site here. Up to you always!
