Hosting without domain name?

Ive got 2 domain name right now, 2 hosting too. One is free from a old promotion of surpass.
If i didnt renew my second domain name, is it possible to redirect my second hosting to a subdomain on my first domain name?

Sorry for my english lol

Like my hosting2 redirect to test.hosting1.com

thanks

I'm sure support could help you with moving your files over to your other hosting account to set it up as a subdomain.

That's what I did with my free account, in fact it's currently still set up that way.

Support will help you out with that one.

I don't see why they couldn't... I set up users on my reseller with subdomains all the time. As long as the main domain and the subdomain are on the same server, it should work. Because the DNS needs to be going to the same place. Unless you set up new A records and all that stuff.

Night,

This is definately possibly, I am not sure why support said no, maybe they didn't full understand you, I apologize about that.

Actually you can do it within cPanel. Go to the cPanel of the domain which you did renew. Create a subdomain called whatever.your-renewed-domain.com
Then in that same support ticket, link them to this forum post and ask them to point the A record for the subdomain whatever.your-renewed-domain.com to the IP of the server where your second account is for the domain you didn't renew. Last step would be to update the domain in the server to be the subdomain whatever.your-renewed-domain.com After that it will work within 12 hours to propagate by going
