Domain redirect question

I have just discovered that my shared account doesn't allow me to add a redirect domain.
In order to get a new domain to point to an existing one, would I then need to create an addon for the new domain and then forward it to the old domain?
I'm at nine addons already, so I'm hesitant to add a tenth.
Thanks.

I believe you require a parked domain.

That is, visiting newdomain.com takes you to the exact same site as existingdomain.com.

not sure what plan you're on but if you have some spare add-on domains

you can just submit a ticket to help desk and they can convert one of your add-ons to become a parked

if you haven't got any spare then i believe you can buy one for a once off fee
