Surpass using same Ad Copy as Namecheap.com?

I was researching registrars (not happy with the time it takes Hostway to get their job done) when I came upon the service description on Namecheap (here)...

Increase the speed and performance of your website by using our geographically dispersed name servers.

Then I noticed the same text, letter for letter on Surpass's service description for their domain name services (here)...

Increase the speed and performance of your website by using our geographically dispersed name servers.

Which left me wondering, who copied who? Another possibility is that that phrase is just an industry standard marketing gimic. Does Surpass actually have multiple DNS servers at lother data centers other than the DimeNoc in Florida? I haven't heard of it before, but it doesn't mean they don't.....

I'm guessing it is some sort of a marketing scheme.

So that still leaves me wondering if Surpass actually does mirror its DNS servers and have what must be a fairly complex location finding scheme that allows the closest data center DNS server to answer your request. Seems...... unlikely.

I'm guessing not but at this point I feel anything is possible.

Guess we have to wait for a blue to pop up to find the true answer.

Its not a conspiracy. Its the default wording that comes with our domains system software that we are in the very first steps of replacing.

What good are multiple DNS servers anyway? We are still at the mercy of the single DimeNOC facility to actually serve our pages.
