Hi,
I'm trying to change the name servers on some of my domains to my new nameservers that came with my new dedicated server. When I go to add them in it says that it cannot find my new nameservers and won't let me change them. |

If it says it can not find the nameservers, this means that they are not registered at the domain registrar.
While it is really nice to have a corresponding A record to the nameserver's, it is not totally necessary. While waiting for IP changes and such, I have removed the A record to my nameservers and had the domains and server function without a hitch. |

OK, hold on there boys....
Remember, I'm basically a noob to all this lingo. I have no idea what an A record is. Let me explain a little further. I've had a site going for the last 6 mos or so. I have 4 domains that all point to that site and all use for example: NS1.AABBCC.com I just went to try and change them to my new nameservers: NS1.DDEEFF.com and I get an error saying that they cannot find my new nameservers so the change does not take effect. |

Two places:
lowcostdomains.com just-hosting domains neither will allow me to switch to my new nameservers, I get an error that says nameserver NS1.XXXXXXX.com cannot be located. |
