question about switching domains - Page 3

i feel very well like killing someone right now

so basically I have to wait 60 days?

Nope.

You have 2 choices.

1 - renew at DotEasy and get your $ back from surpass ( a simple thing, i should think). Then, before the domain name is to expire, transfer it. I recommend a minimum of 30 days in advance.

2 - tell DotEasy that you want them to release the domain so that you can re-buy and register it elsewhere. Be nice, but firm in telling them that you were happy with them but find it easier to have all your stuff in one place. Once they confirm, buy the domain at surpass.

But when it came time for me to look at going for another year. I found a plan that better suited my needs. It was a hard choice between Doteasy and my new host. But I saw it best for my money and my work if I move on. Ive enjoyed working with you guys for the last year and the support has been awesome. This final hurdle has been one I didnt expect. I was hoping as soon as the domain expired doteasy would let it go and everything once again would be simple. I would very much like to keep all my things in one service. I would hate to leave doteasy with a badtaste in my mouth becuase of this small problem. I just dont understand why I need to invest 25 dollars in something I will have for -60 before I transfer. I hope you can see this from my point of view and understand where Im coming from. Thanks for listening.

alright redid it with Doteasy, ill probaly just keep it there, what server do I point the DNS too?

Your welcome email from Surpass that had your username and password also had the nameservers listed.
