Just to add another question to this topic if anyone can help.

I've changed my nameservers to the surpass dns servers but do i need to change the IPS tag? If so what to?

Cheers.

you should only need to change the primary and secondary dns to the surpass ones, which are probably
ns100.dizinc.com
ns101.dizinc.com
you don't normally have to worry about the ip addresses.
Once that is done and it propgates, about 12 hours seems to do it, but can be longer. You log into your control panel at www.yourdomain.com:2082. The whole thing is controled by your user name and password from that point.
ie the ns100 and ns101 are used by lot's of different people to point to the surpass server which then uses your username and password to re-direct you or people viewing your page to the right server and hence to your space your server

ISP tag - sounds to me like you have a .co.uk or another UK domain. You need to contact support and ask for this, it's probably SURPASS but i wouldnt bet on it. Funny that thought had crossed my mind for one of my domains !

not sure what you mean by an IPS code.
If you have custom dns then you would use ns1.domain.co.uk etc and that would be it. You have to do that in a special 'custom' area at your registrar, or advise them of the custome ones for it to work.

The ISP tags, we don't use/have any of those.

I think it might just be with .co.uk domains. I'll wait and see if it works just with the nameserver first and if it does i won't bother with the IPS.

Yeah it will just work with Name servers, my other .co.uk's dont have ISP Tags specified and they are hosted fine.

FYI yes UK domains are the only domains to use ISP tags its a wierd thing from nominet the UK domain registry !
